Support Wesleyan on GA Gives Day!

Tomorrow is the nationally recognized Giving Tuesday and the statewide celebration of Georgia Gives Day. This is a day where people across the state and country will make monetary donations to their favorite nonprofits, including Wesleyan!

It has become a recent tradition for Wesleyan alumnae, friends, parents, staff, faculty, students, and trustees to make gifts to the College on this day to see how much we can raise in 24 hours. This year gifts made on Giving Tuesday/GA Gives Day will be designated for the renovation of Willet Library.

As a special incentive for this day of giving, everyone who makes a gift of $50 or more to the library will have her name added to a permanent list of donors displayed in the stacks.

Plans for the second phase of the renovation include a computer lab large enough to accommodate an entire nursing cohort as well as classrooms for collaborative study, individual workstations, and collection stacks. The addition of a makerspace will give students the opportunity to learn to sew and develop other creative skills and will be a great resource for our Art Club and newly-formed Fashion Club.

Your gift also helps the College compete for additional prize money from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. Remember, you don’t have to be a Georgia resident to participate.
