On March 23, Wesleyan College announced that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all undergraduate and graduate courses would be taught remotely through the end of the semester. We are beyond proud of the way students and faculty rapidly transitioned to remote instruction and learning. In April, students were asked to complete a survey that included questions about the support the College, professors, and staff were providing. Here are some of the outcomes and responses.

The communication helps more than people might think.
Constantly sending good vibes our way.
The communication is something Wesleyan should be proud of. Emails are constantly being sent even if it's just a good luck message.

I'm very excited! I miss my professors and friends.
Not being on campus is affecting me more than I thought it would; I didn’t realize how much the environment supported me or how much being physically near my friends helped my mental and emotional state.
I miss seeing my friends, laughing with classmates, and having an actual schedule that I can follow. Plus I miss walking around campus.
We are pleased, but not surprised by the responses. We are confident that the integrity of the excellent academic experiences for which Wesleyan is known persevered through tough times.
