 It was a packed house at Allen Chen's artist lecture on Thursday morning. During his convocation artist lecture he discussed his work, his path in life as an artist, and how that path continues to shape his sculptural ceramic work.

Visiting artist Allen Chen is a Taiwanese American ceramic artist who is currently an assistant professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. His exhibition Connections and Patterns opened on Thursday evening in the East Gallery of the Porter Fine Arts Building.
